Welcome to the third issue of MarriageWorks Magazine on the Web! If you have just subscribed recently we hope you will enjoy this issue and tell you friends about it as well. The purpose is to be an encouragement to young and not-so-young marrieds who want to learn more about building a terrific marriage, the way God intended it to be. After all, it is meant to work very well!

Trying to agree on a budget, mixed marriages, allowing the husband to be the leader; these are all practical matters that many of us struggle with, so here are some ideas. And as for living today in the light of eternity – well, there are many angles to that one. We’ll explore the idea more in future issues, but here’s a start that probably most young marrieds will relate to very well. And about being willing to step down in preference to someone else, how much we all have to learn. Christmas is about that – Jesus stepping down so we can step up. We think the article on essentials for a growing marriage should be required reading. In today’s busy world we all need this timely reminder. We’re not saying your marriage will fall apart if it’s not growing, but we know that many spouses say they feel like their marriage could fall apart – not what our Creator intended.

Editorial 2Remember, this online magazine is free to all and can be easily sent to all your friends and family who you think would benefit from it. So, help us spread the word.

Happy reading.
